You go everywhere, anywhere,
to the north, to the east,

The sun goes on its flight
to the earth's other side,

but it lent moon soft light,

You still live, he is now dead,
you were born late, he came ahead,

your chance to leave a poor man’s bread.

I gave my life little contemplation
but with the proper deliberation,

I owe much to the Lord of Creation.
