Looking For A Poem

Laura I can't believe you found it! Thank you SO much. I had saved this poem in my sons baby book so many years ago. The book was lost as he grew and moved several times. Now I have great grandsons and will pass this poem along to them. I am so happy to see it again!

A LITTLE BOY'S KISS
by L. Dutter
A little boy's kiss ia a transient thing,
A rose in full bloom; a moth on the wing.
One kiss is spontaneous, flavored with milk
Another is sleep-covered, texture of silk.
A kiss born of duty, delivered in haste,
His life's so exciting, there's no time to waste.
Assorted endearments; to bribe or atone,
His thanks for some toy he's been begging to own.
I treasure them all, for I'm certain of this
Too soon he will feel that it's " sissy" to kiss!
