Would you swap your last breath of air, for the perfect poem you may never hear spoken?

Swapping life for death is swapping life for LIFE.

Isn’t poetry life affirming, no matter how dark it may be?“Do not go gentle into that good night.” Isn’t swapping your last breath for the perfect poem swapping life for life?If you couldn’t say it, or write it, at least you’ve thought it. The “perfect poem”?

The time may come.....but I'd prefer to just go unconscious and not be aware of suffocating, as it were.....redolently graphic, eh?.....'])

No, not for a poem......but I would swap my last breath for the purpose of knowing that my last breath of air would ensure that my offspring and theirs, and future descendents, would live in peaceful, happy, satisfaction.
