The motion picture that inspired me to become a poet
and to wait 35 years to write the poem written to his
lover and the poem that acted as the foundation of the
movie itself. The movie....Dr. Zhivago (1965) starring
Omar Shariff and Julie Christie as Dr. Zhivago and his love
Lara. And the poem I waited so long to write 'Lara' written
on May 28th 2005. I saw the movie at age 19 in (1970) .
This, is my favorite film of all-time.
