The most memorable closing line I have heard is that of Richard Brooks' western " The Professionals" (1966) :
Grant (Ralph Bellamy) calls Fardan a bastard, to which Fardan (Lee Marvin) replies: " Yes, sir, in my case an accident of birth. But you, sir, you are a self-made man."
I cannot be sure it was Richard Brooks himself who wrote that section of dialogue. He is credited for the script, adapted from the Frank O'Rourke novel.
