For each and everyone of us there's karma and on the laws of karma i believe
And the karma i deserve like everybody is the karma one day that i will receive
I cannot say whether i am a good or a bad person as karma will decide on that for me
To karmic laws we all are bound in some way though many with what i say would disagree

Financially embarrassed he feels depressed of late
With little in his life in which to celebrate
His livestock getting thin the paddocks bare and dry
And in the warm Autumn winds the thistledown does fly
...

A well dressed clean cut fellow with short well groomed brown hair
A pin striped dark business suit with white shirt and brown tie he does wear
You can judge the man by his appearance some would have us believe
But that's like judging the book by the cover for looks can so deceive.

I cannot lay claim to being a poet since i pen doggerel
But like every other human being I've a story to tell
A story of an ordinary life but a story just the same
And 'tis said that the most ordinary enjoy five seconds of fame.

The sickly bird when near to death will hide itself away
From predator such as cat or dog or larger bird of prey
It even hides itself from it's own kind for to die on it's own
Some of the secrets of Nature's ways to us remain unknown

They only can look at life in their own way
And they will vote for the same political party till their last voting day
They never do waver from their point of view
I speak here for many and not of a few,

He played hurling for Cork just a few years ago
And as an an Aussie Rules footballer his legend now grow
He now plays full back for Carlton for him a remarkable feat
Young Setanta O Hailpin is an amazing athlete,

The stream from the mountain lake flows through the bracken
It babbles on forever by night and day
Down through the old fields and by many a hedgerow
On to the bigger river far away.

'Tis hard to make a friend on your life's journey far harder than 'tis to make a foe
And despite my three score years of living of life i have so much to know
To business people money mostly matter and money does come before all
And disputes that have led to serious crimes over money quite common stories to recall.

With her man she shared the ups and downs of life
And she raised seven children the traveller's wife
By seven Summers she had outlived her man
Though her end was now near she lay dying in her van.
