Gary Revel Poems
I wish you the best The very best Of Everything
A Frost Thought
I reflect upon the way that I have come The two roads And I I took the lonely one
The sun is the center he said The earth spins and spins around Liar they said the earth is center You must be stopped gagged and bound
God Forsaken Planet
A vast frozen wasteland awaited me I stepped out on that God forsaken planet One lone American on a space mission Like nuclear fusion
</>If you say Hallowee-en is evil your lying From the day we're born aren't we all dying If that 24 hours is of Devil's spawn
In the mosh pit They thrust and drive Pound and tumble Fall and die
Comes The Haunt
A wisp of shadow, a bump, a sigh, A longing notion, not sure, so shy, Yet fearsome feeling, comes the haunt.
A light that strong and clear Could not be denied nor dismissed Bravely shining into the darkness Like a dragon's breath just kissed
I used a hammer and a nail to fix a board on my fence in my front yard. I've heard it said that, 'Good fences make good neighbors'.
Joan Of Arc
She saved France from devils Demons trembled at her name Jealous prideful people Burned her body for their shame
Simply I love you With love so strong It must be wrong
Give it to me Give it to me now If you didn't want me to get it
I really do hate you Your laughter makes me sick Your happiness gives me great pain
I May Be Wrong
I may be right I may be holy I may find strength In something solely
I'D Buy Them All
I'd buy that star up in the sky for you, if I could.
But what good would that do?
You couldn't pluck it out of the sky and put it in your pocket.
You couldn't frame it and put it on the wall.
I'd buy that raindrop falling through the clouds for you.
But you'd never find it once it landed.
It would become, like the others, a drop in a bucket.
