my life was terrible, no one to look to
until the day that i saw you
you change my life, you made it brand new
every thought in my head was about you
...

as i walk through the meadow of hate and shame
i walked by a man that called my name
he only had black clothing and talked very deep
deep as the ocean, deep as my sleep
...

there pain in my emotion
you cant see it, but its there
behind all the hurt,
all the lies.
...

the fire in your eyes
compassion in your heart
my heart flies
then falls in the dirt
...

i walk away from the shadows
toward the shunshine
death behind me
life in my eyes
...

i go to a day where everything was happy
the smell of the ocean in my nose
the feel of sand between my toes
the music so humble as it goes
...

today is one that i spend with myself
no one else, its a burdon i kept
she was absolutley amazing
but i knew i wasnt good enough, i saw it coming
...

i was sad but now im glad
im happy not mad
she in my life
and i hear god saying no more strife
...

throwing liquid rocks
sleeping in a concrete box
all the trees melt to the ground
all i see is water all around
...
