Can You Feel

Can you feel
My pain inside
When black and heavy clouds
Are coming here
Can you feel
My hurt inside
When hands just droop
Hope runs away
And hushes

Do you know, what it means
When thunderstorms are beating
And darkening the night so shiny
When everything is dying

Yes, you do know
The feeling when they leave
And only barking dogs are left
No, you haven’t forgotten
The day you gave me shafts of sun
A part of your world you promised me
And now
I’m here, in road so cold
Under the sky unfriendly
So to mourn over the things
I never had
So to paint in dew my dreams
That’ll never come true…

I’m standing here
With broken heart and tearfully
In doubt my dreams will ever come true
With hope dying so slowly
