Gershy is a masterly poet. From the cerebral to the sexual (as he himself classes his work) Gershon's poems show genius in manipulation of language and rhyme. It is these two characteristics above all others that bring me to his work, hoping as I do that some of his extraordinary talent will brush off on my own poetic creations. Writing with style, flair, wit, and overwhelming insight, from day to day Gershon offers poems on a range of current affairs. In the one poem he will contemplate the fate of captured terrorists. In the very next poem he will tickle you with an insight into the pursuits of hyper-sexed celebrities! !
If you are new to Gershon's writing, as a starting point I recommend you his 'Uplifting' and 'Let's Seize Foxes'. These are the two pieces of his work that got me hooked on him.
Author of over 4000 poems, Gershon Hepner's writing talent is worthy of widespread recognition.

Whether you are writing about the Bible or about love, your head works in SUCH a different way than mine does, gersh.
I'm all intuition, period. But you are like a giant fateful amazing Bingo ball selector, scanning the myriad wonderful and poetic possibilities of language and plugging lines in that actually fit together - like a master mason!
And yet when you are done with this amazing and strange process, it's what I want in a poem - it tells truth, it expresses joy (far more times than not) and it stays resolutely on point.
I'm flabbergasted!
