From an idea by Sophie Mitchell-Dwelly

Before the coming of the night
I see the moon rise all dressed in white

The Green Man strains to the winter call
As Summer memories surrender to Fall
...

The heat above the terracotta town
Turns the fields to golden brown
The bronzed men with raging thirst
Tend the vines fit to burst

Dedicated to Andy Wilson - Lost at sea 1979

There once was a man who took on the ocean
In a boat built at school with love and devotion

With your long blonde hair to your shoulders

Stones across the water
Herring gulls drifting across the bay

Windy Gap

Windy Gap

We down our tools ‘cross the fields we trip
To the famous landmark at Landslip
On patterned earth our boots we tread
By a wooded path we are softly led
Cajoled by outstretched limbs of Spruce
The vapour rain red cheeks induce
We climb for miles our breath comes quick
Amongst the golden leaves and twigs
Past the cottage with plume of smoke
Past the cascade clad in oak
Chattering from the Corrawong thief
At last the summit of The Leith

Pinewood Royal
