Who Are We?

We are born to a world too strange,
Everything way out of our small range,

From the first steps to the last,
We live from our past,

From infant to adult we are taught rights and wrongs,
Each trying to find where he or she belongs,

Guidance is the lucky package,
Or you're out with all your baggage,

Help is out here in the few,
...for all the people who knew,

We are all the help for the greater one,
So they can run with fun,

Am I part to this creation,
Why aren't we all greeted by an ovation,

I'm here to do my part,
Like we are all on an organized chart,

Is this what we want,
Let's astray from this and write our own fonts,

There is no one to look up to,
Only people to look through,

The soldiers who fight for what we are,
While we sit here on lounge chairs smoking the devils cigar,

They are the ones to look up to for they represent us,
But who thinks about that when riding a school bus,

Or in the office, or at an event,
Yet we can't find happiness without a supplement,

What is it we all desire,
To live life without hitting a trip wire,

Is there even a pursuit of happiness,
Or are we all just trying to escape the madness…
