    LIVING FORCE...........

In your following lines resounds the Upanishad's hymn addressed to the God Sun represented by Tagore in his own way~
    At your splendor's brim
Humans sighted their nobility supreme -
That from age to age you did compile
By the Persian gulf or Nile.
Said they - Sons of the Immortal we are -
    Visioned that Superman
From beyond the darkness blazing golden
    Your lines resonating above ~
    Flowers appear with typical colors
As if to show “Yes we are child of rare showers”
    .........................
    ...........................
    We are living force
Provide to the world real source
Man with such qualities is welcome
Who can convert desert into nice for someone!

Excellent sir. You have nicely said the importance of past history particularly when it is glorious. And the need for revival. The last para is fitting.

    Respected Mr. Mehta,

Now-a-days I've again started browsing MI after a hiatus as I'm feeling somewhat better in spite of my severe neurotic disorder of which I'm a victim over last 6 years.

However, I find your pen is as lively as before and besides being a regular contributor to MI yourself, you sit up to the contributions of many others and reply extempore in poetry! This is fascinating to me! Maybe, there is scope for brush up in your responses to others' contribution, but that is immaterial as it is only a question of time which you are denied while you are reacting to others' poetic inspirations. What matters to me is the substance in your extempore responses which should be rewarding, at least it is so in my case.

Of Tagore, it is my conviction that he has shadowed all the poets on Earth of all time and in all languages, including English. Yet, poets of all ages are contributing their mite which has been illuminating to mankind, yours no exception.

The joy and happiness lies here as beautiful gifts

The pain and agony is staying side by side without shift

As world has been made beautiful with fragrance from flowers

I shall live on earth with single mission of follower

At the fag end of my life, let this be my 'sustenance' while I'm counting my days.

    Yours sincerely,

    Rajat Das Gupta

    Additional insight...Thank you Hasmukh Bhai.

Many poets such as Tulasidas, Kabir and Kannada poet Purandharadas have highly spoken of critics.

Miss ', I Really Miss(246) /500 #

I was stepping in to become young
I thought it is nice journey but too long
I am afraid and take care not to go wrong
I was expecting everything for song

I am so much influenced by lady smile
She has entered in life just before while'
Life seems to be so interesting and fine
I want to dance on floor with glass of wine

Miss, you can't be so rude
For a word you have made prelude,
All warmth and affection you have included
Hate and distance you have excluded

I never expected you to cast
All doubts but trust should not last
You were the ...

At Cross Road

Never but at cross road,
Are we at cross road?
Is there any load?
Why not we meet?
Even at cross road.

Are we blood thirsty?
And care for no one,
who may come but none?
