Tears well at every thought
Of how I lost an opportunity bought
With plaintiff cry of breaking Heart.
The sun did rise

I cherish you words and keep to them close
To peek as I need and help me to go
Through all of this time without your warm arms
Holding me so close, keeping me at peace.

This day six years ago,
Silently we watched
The drama unfold.
Over and over

HATE
Use that experience to
Reach into the hard places
And pull out with force,

Yellow wormwood flowerheads
Push up between green leaves
And violet red stems
Of Poke Sally.

Through the years of raising little ones
to bigger ones to big enough,
Takes so much time and energy
That creative thoughts come on bits and scraps of paper,
