I want to write,
But i only dream.
My mind wanders out of this room,

or maybe i could just wake up,
and this could all be a dream.

I want to be perfect,
But for no-one but you,

and to always stay true,

I feel like you're leaving,
as though you're trying to go,
Can't you tell me you love me?
I guess that's a no.

What is this feeling?
Lurking deep inside?
Is it something bad?
Because it's trying to hide?
...

You're thin and you're pretty,
with blonde curly hair,
you're kind and it shows,
with how much you care.
...

I'll simply be out shopping,
or just going for a run,
when words and phrases hit me,
and a poem has begun.
...

You'll be there forever,
you're a piece of my heart,
you were always there honey,
right from the start.
