Ida Mustazir Poems

when everything gets hard
for a song to be heard
for a book to be read
for a picture to be seen
...

melt my devotion down like chocolate
infiltrate to your grey cells, to your neurons
they grow stronger, you laugh laugh laugh
watching, laughing, ecstatically
...

the gift, the curse
like a same thing in reverse
how to distinguish?
...

4.

all of my essential substances
that formed my body
are nailed to you
obsessions crucified
...

things we do at this time
the no word touch of my mime
how I feel soiled and begrime!
how afraid to involve you in my crime
...

the trashy light
of exclusive white

two pairs of his doe eyes
...

Daydreaming
My past obsessions visit me in retrospective way
I let them in with hospitality
I'm afraid of thing that makes me happy for real
...

hundreds of nude-pigmented petals
flowing, bouncing, dancing on my cymbals
but they don't clash with each other
they keep dancing until I stop
...

And then I took the scissor
And started to crop a tiny area
They grew strong and lush
Soiled and nourished
...

Yesterday we were an anthem of revolution
Singing, crumpling on a street of new order legacy
Under an ocean of beer lathered in starry sky
Twinkling stars with cigarettes between their lips
...

With you we are ten.
with ten fingers you clasp
believing vague nobility to grasp
...

'I am one of those people who soon be forgotten'

I got here by taxi
so tired, wishing to get back home soon
...

drug me some noble notions
over elaborate, impractical illusions
guided by the list of missing people
to a dart field where I fail to hit reason
...

To exit from fool's paradise, and be rustic
Forceful awakening feels so unrealistic
It feels comfortable to find that you're a dumb
I will laugh until the wind chills my gum
...

the fact that there's so many of us
makes us not sad
we make a colossal move
that will never be forgotten
...

those cells were once a bud
too soon they bloom in mud
encapsulate every fumble
ulcerate divisions that crumble
...

the loathe was penetrable
by HCl
the wave of disgust was fathomable
by centimeters
...

seven times reading the same book
seven times hurting
just because you know nothing about God
that doesn't mean no one can
...

To kill or be killed is a futile lesson
Beautiful, majestic demolition
Too much names in my head
I can't remember, I can't cry over their stories
...

20.

let the new future begins
as the world whirls around
I'm co-exist with others
traveling incognito, you can find me with another face
...

Changing My Skin

when everything gets hard
for a song to be heard
for a book to be read
for a picture to be seen
for an idea to be perceived
it's time to change my skin
