a sudden chill down the spine

from a long walk
there stood a well-grown bird
with its tiny flexible neck

aglow against blowing winds,
a real challenge

Once time tied them
together
time also threw them
to two extreme ends

The birds on the trees
Where did they go?
They stayed undaunted
All through the dry spell
...

do you know
that this ancient body
longs to speak
devoid of niceties

worlds unify
worlds fall apart...
