i find a friend to talk too
i stare her in the eye and fear her
she talks of her world, i fear to share mine
for mine is too contradicting to hers

i fear to be hurt so i show distrust
i close my eyes and hope not to remember
though i have never met her, her name comes up
like a confused child i turn and look back
