The Lone Sniper

The Lone Sniper

The lone sniper lays silent
not moving an inch
watching and waiting
for his prays approach.

As his pray draws near
un-knowing of its demise

The sniper prepares himself
ready for the kill

He lays the crosshairs on
the unknowing pray.

He squeezes the trigger
letting lose the prays demise.

The bullet rips
thought the still quiet air
homing in on its pray

As it draws ever closer
the sniper watches as
the bullet rips
through the pray dragging
its life out with it

He watches the life of his
pray vanish.

The pray slumps to the floor
un-knowing of what happened
it lays there still and lifeless


Only then is the ringing off the shot heard
and the sniper is gone to Hunt his next prey
