As the sun rises here today
I find my self thinking about you
I think about you in every way
Gracious, loving, caring, true

Your smile has faded,
Like mist vanishes before the sun
The sound of your voice,
No longer whispers in the wind

Darkness rose from the ground
Faceless beings stood around
Wielding daggers of despair
Slashing and bagging without a care
...

In a desolate world
My future is unfurled
Written on a bloody stone
I walk my path, I walk alone

Alone in the dark I wonder
As I listen to the roaring thunder
I hear the sound less screams
Of their worlds shattered dreams
...

There's nothing as beautiful as a girls smile
The diamond like sparkle in her eyes
The grace within her soul
And a heart of gold
...

A star was born tonight
A star sparkling with a new light
A star that mesmerizes the night sky
A star that will never die

It eats at my soul
This haunting pain
A past as black as coal
Revealed by a stain
