She has a beautiful heart
It's plain to see
It hurts to see her in misery
She gives all of herself to him

I took a long walk in the spiritual world
and so much unspoken was told
I found out I'm aging but I'm not so old
I found that pure hearts shine like gold

They sent out the sentries
they sent out the guards
they send out all the armored horses
and the steel covered men
...

You prop me up in ways you can't see
You see something that I can't see in me
You make me heal inside, and do so kindly
You let me slide on things and don't remind me
...

Many times throughout each day
I try to fight the urge to daydream
I can feel you coming into my head
Think about a feeling you left me with
...

When I was young
and didn't know anything about love
I looked in the sky and saw a dove
A voice from above whispered in my ear

I wish you to stop by
but you don't
You say you will
but you won't

The impatiens have lost their pink
Have lost their lavender too, I think
Where did their beautiful colors go
Where did they run to, I wish to know
