James Wade Poems

Sadness now rises with every new dawn,
preceded by sorrow with night endured long.
The days often bright, but no mirth do they bring,
overshadowed with dark clouds from the pain bourne within.
...

It doth pierce thy heart
With many a great and sorrowful woe,
To gaze upon her fair beauty,
Tis more comely than the Autumn doe.
...

For Thee, and Thee alone,
My heart doth beat within my breast;

For without Thee in my life,
...

The sun hath set, the day now done;
The love longed for, sadly not won.

Tears not rain and sorrow not mirth,
...

Through the travail of ages
and the struggles and strivings of man,
The Moon looks down upon him
as his life sinks into the sand.
...

V.6: 26. The adultress does hunt for a mans precious life,
V.7: 10. With crafty seductions she lieth in wait.

V.6: 32. The fool will surely go in unto her,
...

There was at one time, a place of beauty most rare.
Where both woman and man did live without care.
With no fear of war, nor fear of the beasts,
No worldly corruption, no death or disease.
...

When the day doth come I'll be not upset,
To leave this world I'll not regret.
Through trial and travail through struggle and strife,
I'll gladly lay down this pitiful life.
...

Soldiers come, Dreadful ones.

Glass broken, Just begun.

The Best Poem Of James Wade

The Heart's Sad Quest.

Sadness now rises with every new dawn,
preceded by sorrow with night endured long.
The days often bright, but no mirth do they bring,
overshadowed with dark clouds from the pain bourne within.

The heart pierced soo deeply as from dagger in hand,
alas, look to the ground, but no blood in the sand.
Joy quickly parted afoul of heart's plan,
all happines gone, it hath fled from the land.

If it be only torment, not joy that love brings,
then why dost thou bard of it's virtues do sing?
For thy songs are but lies, thy lyrics be false.
to have the heart broken seems too high a cost.

The heart did run seeking to become love's happy slave,
but all the heart found was it's shallow cold grave.
