The Best Poem Of jane jones

The Rock

And then love gave me this ugly rock
But it meant more to me than a diamond
It was nothing to anyone
The rock was my world, my heart, and my life
And I was a diamond shinier than the sun
Then that rock was taken away
I shine no more, I am scratched
A pebble took that rock
Because diamonds and rocks don't belong together
And certainly can't shine together
Now I lay here by myself no longer glistening
Waiting to share my shine with another
But just maybe that rock will turn into a diamond and shine with me
Until then, the rock was never mine, but given to me by love
Now I give it back to love and hope that love will return that rock
But this time as a diamond
So take it and keep it
But treat it as I treated it and see it how I seen it
It may have been ugly but it was so beautiful
