Cold and gray
Were the yesterdays
But just as
Fear was to take me

you see a subtle woman
clothed in her luscious black hair
but you’ve turned her into a child
each time you left that door

Maybe I didn’t lose you at all
Maybe you were never really there
Maybe I just thought you were
Holding on to my imagination

She was more than just a swift hand
I felt her warmth as she held me
In pieces I was, yet I gave my all
To be the best game for her
...

A piece of the sun
Landed on the ends of my hair
Pangs of hurt carefully trace
Scars on my woken temples

back when I thought
the world was just dark,
all I know of were
forgotten swings and

I hear the tinkle of an empty can
Play by the garage grounds
The flutter of a pigeon
Makes an irritable sound

It is a distraction, perhaps a wonder too
Why a sudden beating within, I think it’s colour blue,
Has decided to perturb my drowsy senses
Just as I’m about to take to the bed, minus the visions
