tie yourself to my waist
only to fool me
with your sly shadow;

like the tea-bag that drips from the table
the floor is flooded with playful circumstances
you’ll never know the scripts inside my head

hysterics over fancy-labelled fruit extracts
comfortably seated on jade couches,
surrounded by familiar names and faces
yet mind adrift towards a memory
