The time has come, the old clock said, to say goodnight and go to bed.
Saint Nicholas is on his way with gifts and goodies on his sleigh.
He wants to know if you've been good and played at being Robin Hood?

Stars and lights on Christmas trees are common sights I know.
But I saw something wonderful - the sky was all a-glow.

Christmas Morning

Our family was gathered at the table;
pale moon was softly shining through the trees.
We listened to the story of the stable,
around our home there was a gentle breeze.
Oh what a wondrous tale that was we heard:
the songs of angels on that holy morn
rang out so happily with joyous word
of how the baby, Jesus Christ, was born;
of shepherds sitting quiet in the moonlight,
when trumpets blew and great light filled the sky;
and wise men travelled far that they may sight
God's marvellous creation, where He did lie.
Although His life on earth did prove a test,
because of it, I know I'm truly blessed.
