A Sinister Action

Life through the eyes of these MP5's,
Two indiscriminate killers are their victims' demise-
Colleagues and co-workers, through corridors and class,
The deadly tone of gunshots and the shattering of glass.
The guns smile violently as they spill round after round
And fatal bullets rip the flesh of the victims they have found.
A school left in horror, attendance at an all-time low,
The helpless killers' only choice their only way to go.

The standards are high and no-one's made the grade,
The system let them down and they feel betrayed-
One way to avenge: A bullet to die,
Clip after clip: The bullets don't lie;
But what were the motives behind this brute force?
What were they listening to? Marilyn Manson. Of course,
An easy escape, just blame it on someone else
When they failed to spot the warnings of bad mental health.

Traumatic childhoods? Being bullied at school?
A few more likely reasons for this breach of the rules.
The only escape with their friend in the form of a gun,
And the plotters planned precisely, this wasn't for fun.
A tragedy could have been avoided, if weapons weren't so easy to get,
Instead we pay the price with broken hearts and regret.
The killers reprimanded, their own 'justified' shots to the head,
Once again the guns have spoken and the killers now lay dead.
