Jayson Howard Poems

If our paths haven't crossed by now,
I'm sure they will soon.
I mean, you're all dressed up,
and sitting across the room.
...

Come on, let’s take a stroll,
its been a while and you owe me one.
We talk about the past, and we share some laughs,
Talking about future plans, and where it all ends.
...

She’s an endless parade.
She’s an escapade.
She works for days,
sleeping on minimum wage.
...

Hey you.
You sure look cute.
I want to be with you,
just with you.
...

I've got the rain, on my side.
Its autumn, and there's no place left to hide.
I know it's been days since I've heard your voice.
The whispers are all I have left.
...

Snow falls down.
Winters all around.
Snowflakes to the left and to the right,
illuminated by red and green lights.
...

Maybe tonight,
I’ll start a fight,
and maybe I’ll hold my tongue before I speak.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up,
...

Oh when does heart triumph,
with good intentions?
I get blamed, put to shame,
and not to mention,
...

You’ve been here a long time.
Nothings better than history.
What do I do,
when you do this to me?
...

Patience is running out of me.
I call when I think you are free,
even though I’m falling out to sea.
Oh what a week it will be.
...

You’re taking your time.
The clock never changes.
Haven’t seen you a while.
Yeah, it’s been ages.
...

It seems a tired heart is weighing you down.
Feels like years since he’s been around.
You spend your nights,
attached to your pillow and faded dreams.
...

I open the door for you.
Yeah, I know I’m cute.
You’re Gorgeous. I’m Naïve.
I’ll be forgotten once you step passed me.
...

I’m awake, but dreaming.
Heart’s asleep. Brain’s scheming.
Lies buried beneath my tongue,
hiding hate for what you’ve become.
...

Such a typical notion,
filing for devotion.
Giving chips for motions.
Such an endless ocean.
...

I cannot express,
what goes on in my head.
All aspects of life,
and all the glamour of death.
...

The waters on fire,
you're a walking plague,
I've never seen such recklessness,
someone so fake.
...

One time we were hanging around,
on the outside of town,
where we were screaming each others' names,
and playing those games.
...

Tearing the pages from the book,
staring you down, with the choices you took.
Another day, and it would have gone away,
but you poked, and you pushed it,
...

The day, started out slow,
It did pick up though…
Cause we were talking,
we were walking,
...

Jayson Howard Biography

Life is like a dream, sometimes it is good and somtimes it is bad, but in the end it is over. I will pay for you, anytime. Exhale and breathe, just breathe for me. Perfection is defined when your heart beats next to mine. (Give me a Fairytale) [Live for the Moment] If you peak my interests, I’ll talk to you. I dont always get whats going on or what im doing, but i say 'if you understand what you're doing, you're not learning anything.' I’m weird. I’m random. I like things. Stuff and junk is the best? I'm not the biggest people person. I like Friends. I like friends with Benefits? I love music.)

You Were Not Worth The Trouble

If our paths haven't crossed by now,
I'm sure they will soon.
I mean, you're all dressed up,
and sitting across the room.
Why did I come all this way tonight?
Surely it wasn't to watch the trees blow in the moonlight.

With the windows up, and the wind blowing in,
I smell your scent, I smell you and,
your house is packed with all your friends,
at least I'm one of them, am I one of them?

So the time's coming for us,
to finally head back.
And hey, maybe, just maybe,
I'll see you in class.
Why don't you stop by and say 'Hi' in the lunch room.
Or maybe I'll say it, so you'll know I haven't forgot you.

With the days going by, and the clouds in the sky,
I call you at night, I call you and,
you're sitting at home with no one by your side,
at least I tried, didn't I try?

We keep doing this back and forth,
but it has no worth.
It keeps me up, giving me problems.
I mean, what do I do? I can't solve them.
You have your path, and I have mine.
If you can't see that, then we're not fine.

With the rising sun, I'd say I'm done,
you were fun, you were the one and,
you're with him, and I have no one,
at least I won, I know I won.
