Finding Myself

I'm held back by darkness
It's overwhelming my conscience
and honestly its all nonsense
but when it comes to my defense
the only offense
that has been commenced
is being born with no sense
of self control
ADHD dug me into a hole
a whole lot of doubt
in what i feel inside and out
and my only way out
is to not stop and pout
but to stand up and shout
for what I believe in and what I am about
to look on the bright side not what I'm with out
to get my life on to a normal route
so I can finally love myself inside and out
