The Other Side

Look through the window
can you feel the sun glow
Can you hear the widow moan
can you hear the lion groan

look through the sky
can you hear the clouds sigh
can you see the angels' cry
do you wish you would die

look through your soul
can you feel your heart so cold
do you see why you aren't bold
as you watch your destiny unfold

from where we are there is a tide
through this miserable life we have to ride
but its unholy rules we have to abide
but we look forward hoping to see the other side.
