Lonely Whispers

It is a long sad journey when I am alone
Feeling the heartbreak I knew I was destined for
I fell many times as the world left from my grasp
Then the time was lost and I became someone I did not know, yet I wouldn't choose to change
I tried to return to a past that no longer existed
For me it was like I was chasing lost dreams
Empty were my hands, nothing but a faded soul
After I fell into an inescapable abyss I realized that I was worth more than this
I had to make the people understand
