Alone in this strange place

The life has been drained from me.
I have lost all hope all belief.
No longer do I feel the pain inside.
No longer do I feel that this life is mine.
I have pushed the feelings deep down.
So that they will not come back around.
I must choke it up and smile
For just a little while.
The time will come when you will see.
That this is what life handed me.
I play the cards the best I can.
I hope the tomorrow I will survive again.
