She

On the patch of green
in the field on which she kept running
away from fear
maybe
hardly able to catch her breath
she was panting
she kept ducking
from the huge figure of fear
looming right behind her
heart pounding
legs sore
she looked up
the sky wasn't grey
the sun beaming
hidden amidst the darting rays
she saw an arch of rainbow
strange enough
she felt peace
reminded of the wonderful covenant
she was truly grateful
and greatly relieved
for she knew she was not alone
for in Him she can depend on
for in Him she can garner
the strength to move on
for in Him the giant figure of uncertainty didn't look as intimidating anymore
the girl smiled
knowing that she was well taken care of
she felt the soothing dew
beneath her feet
as she danced herself to bliss
on the lushy patch of green
