The Middle East Dream

HIDING INSIDE
THE VIOLENCE IN MY HEAD
MEMORIES OF LIFELESS BODIES
THE SOUNDS OF DEATH EVERY WHERE
UNDER MY BED IN COMPLETE DARKNESS
HOPING THE BOMBS DONT BLOW ME AWAY
HOPING MY MOM COMES BACK TO ME OKAY
I CLOSE MY EYES AND IMAGINE PEACE
A WORLD OF LOVE SEEM A DISTANCE DREAM
THIK CLOUDS OF SMOKE BLOCK ALL HOPE
I HEAR FOOTSTEPS IN THE NIGHT
A CIRCUS OF FEAR
MARCHING TO THE BEAT OF DEATH
MY MISSOIN IS TO STAY ALIVE
AS DAY APPROACH I LOOK OUTSIDE
HEARING OR SEEING NOTHING
I FELT SOMETHING
THE MUFFLED CRIES OF THE DEAD
THE LONELINESS OF A FAMILY...
