Two more feet to walk with me
To where I go, two more feet will walk with me
Not more than two more.
One more heart to beat for me and
When I’m low, one more heart will beat for me
Not more than one more.
Two more hands and
A mouth to speak
To let me know when I’m sick
To lift me up off the floor
To pull me out of the door.
Not a greater friend
Nor a lesser enemy
To tell me where I’m wrong and that
That’s not where I should be
That’s not where I belong.
Two more eyes to watch out for me,
