My name is Jesse Turner. I have lived in Arkansas all my life. I really enjoy writing short stories and poems although they are usually never for anything more than an English grade. Rhyme and rhythm poems are my favorite but I am trying to break myself from them. Spread my poetic wings I guess you could say. I have considered a career as an author but I know my writing will always be just a hobby for me. Conformity is something that I truly despise unless it is for a good cause. Everyone should be proud of their individuality and not try to suppress it. I love music, it is what keeps me alive when I am bored. I play the tenor saxophone in the Salem High School Band. I do not have a myspace or facebook anymore for various reasons. Penguins and me do not get along well, especially after my encounter with the movie Happy Feet. A lot happened to me over the summer of '07 and I have really taken a look at who I call friends and my life in general. I highly recommend this exercise to everyone.
