Jhonas Lumanlan Poems
When You Came
When you came, the rain stopped falling I found the rainbow hiding behind the mountain I rode a bicycle to it flying…singing singing like I’d never sing like it again
I cannot resist the beautiful tempest though I know its evil I can't fight against the sweet.
If all the world should know How much I love you so I'll ride the moon up there above and count the stars that cannot love
Every time I release I think of you smiling Enticing the sin To come out again.
The Best Part of Me
Have you ever thought That I'm always looking at you Wherever you are, whenever possible, However I can, Whatever time I can?
Let's take out all the stars from your eyes and close them to a sweet dream because when we see the night fade we will never enjoy the a new day.
That look of the rose, I remember when it called to me in thorns I remembered crashing to dreams and lights and music and memories.
The Living Poem
What I know of love is what I know of your smile What I know of happiness is what I know of your eyes What I know of life is what I know when you are beside me You are the reason I have a reason to live.

When You Came
When you came, the rain stopped falling
I found the rainbow hiding behind the mountain
I rode a bicycle to it flying…singing
singing like I’d never sing like it again
and I held your hands like you held mine
a kiss on the lips was like death and life
even the night brought me sunshine
your smile saved me from the cruel strife
and from my sleepless bed you came
you came and conquered what darkness did
when I flew and when I flew lame
you made the sky spring anew from a seed.
