Darkness is falling all around
Leaving deep shadows upon the ground
Wherever I stand the darkness does creep
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet

If you could help a child in need
And raise their hopes beyond belief
How much you give it does not matter
Just to hear that child laugh and chatter

Spring time is coming
The larks flying high
I hear his small voice
High in the sky

Those wings of gauze they open wide
My lovely angel deep inside
That smile that’s upon her face
She’s the guardian of the human race

To the bathroom we do go
How I love that water so
The steam is rising in the air
There seems to be water every were
...

Fast asleep inside my bed
A voice is speaking in my head
I know that voice from long ago
I’m sure its someone I do know

Dear friend dear friend
My life is passing by
I’m glad to have known you
A tear please do not cry

Runway lights go flashing by
As I fly up into the night sky
Leaving the earth far below
On my journey I do go

When times are tough and you can’t see the end
All you need is one good friend

They will guide you through the night

We all get those wash days blues
Ironing clothes and washing shoes
I wish that I could iron quicker
Baggy shorts and blooming knickers
