    Hi Mr. Frost,
    I read your poem The Last Twilight and I would love to get your permission for setting this text to music. I am a composer studying in conservatory, and you would obviously get credit for the text authorship as well as royalties if my piece is ever performed in the future.
    Hope to hear from you soon.
    All best,
    Ari

Why Dandelions Cry

It is no wonder dandelions bellow:
Mother Summer no longer holds her child.
Forsaken are those petals, soft and yellow,
Left to wither and writhe in Autumn’s wild.

Green-grass-beds growing darker, turning brown;
Bright-colored leaves all fall, then suffocate.
Flossy seed balls dropped hard on frozen ground,
Crushed beneath burly acorn’s massive weight!
