A life without hope is a dismal existence
try as hard as you might, it's just futile persistence
Drab days far out number the bright days
dark clouds forever block out the sun rays

So much for immortality through fame and glory
What does it matter in a life transitory
Swimming through the depths of life's fathomless quarry
Is life a perplexing lesson or an allegory?

๐๐As daylight retires with sunset fires, starlight inspires reveries sweet,
as the nighttime transpires, the earth attires in a dark mist, so gently afar I drift, journeying into deep sleep๐๐๐๐
๐Mired in murky thoughts, My soul they coldly accost, but my bed is warm and soft, so softly and serenely I drift off, and lazily lift off to the land of the lost - with laser Precision my decision is to enter the realm of involuntary vision!
๐๐Silently, I sleep soundly, surreptitiously, My dreams have found me, tonight they astound me, sounding resounding, in sweet reveries I'm drowning, dreams at times unclear but clearly confounding.

A life without hope is a dismal existence
try as hard as you might, it's just futile persistence
Drab days far out number the bright days
dark clouds forever block out the sun rays
blue jays are chased away by death-loving vultures
I am unable to enjoy humanities customs and cultures
Sad, sorry solitude
frivolously feigning fortitude
daring to deviate
from pain that won't alleviate
That this will never end is my greatest fear
hoping for a pill that will make my pain disappear
