Divorce

divorced since i was 2

when i was little i never knew

that my mom did not love my dad

and never knew while i grew

but now it is clear

she got remarried and i remember every tear

every time my dad would sit down to drink a beer

it grows inside me

makes me sad we cant have a happy family

with 2 states away

cant see my mom everyday

if i could make them together

i wouldn't think twice

for my new step dad isn't very nice

i skate to make less of the pain

for when i skate it is like a get away

well this poem is over

and i need to sleep

hope you enjoyed it
