All is coming undone, in this life we lead,
Through amusement parks and fire sparks,
Train wrecks and tragedies.

Breath is like vapors caught in a storm,
Working so hard to bring them through.
Eyes are on fire without living flame,
Filling with waters that don’t drown heat.

I. Stepping into dawn,
Sunlight and moonlight merging.
Peace fills all the world.

I. See the little fawn,
Awakening from slumber,
Blinded by the dawn.

I. One piece of sand falls,
Through the hourglass in my heart.
It shall be shattered.

Millions die daily,
As billions more watch.
The clock ticks down,
On our short little lives.

My eyes feel dark.
As they celebrate life.
Victory shines in their faces.
But my eyes feel dark,

Butterflies and bombshells, leather and lace,
Utter nonsense of love and war.
Trapped within the lion’s cage,
Or deep within the golden temple.

Tension mounts.
Two armies stand silent.
The commanders do not stir,
No order is given,

Living in solitude,
He awaits his day to rule.
The next in line he sits enthroned,
Chained to his fate.
