Full of pain and deceit
Where we're told is love and trust
Broken dreams are around every corner

I knew it was wrong
Wrong to love you
I kept telling myself
What not to do

confession rises in our minds
as it fills up our thoughts
wondering what could have been
while knowing what is

the conscious mind
it does not fail
ignored by many
heard by one
...

I may not know the reasons
Why everything happens
The way that they do
Yet the reasons are there
...

Silver pools turn crimson
as the night begins to fade,
dawn returns so then should
the light of all that's passed,

I want to scream my insecurities
Tell all of my secrets
But my fear keeps it locked inside
