In yester-years
Like a song
Words chanted and again

The gloom of winter in a slow fade
Turns its arms to spring
Something new to cling
And so the new to bring
...

Started as a wave
Perhaps a wind wave
Sweeping from the western horizon
Conquering the neutral centre
...

Memories not recalled
Are those not formed
Stepping forward from a lane
Of a busy day in life
...

Crawling, toddling, standing
Next to a table
On it, a blank paper
And a pack of crayons
...

The blooms and blossoms
The green shines
The mirrages of the day
The sun; scorching hot
...

Meeting unintentionally at a busy avenue
In a hurried pace stole glances at each other
Without a feel of it at the time
We by-passed each other thoughtfully
...

It was the rain, then a storm
Rising waves, then tides
Insinuating the early storm
But this time the ark missing
...

In the human absurdity
Face-slapped by a human parody
Way-ward a bit, you may think
Inscripted in the melting insolence
...

Blowing, lazily, then hastily
Through the shrubs past the bushes
Over the grassland then to the forest
Down valleys towards the plain
