Those Of Swollen Hearts

Shamed and betrayed
This scholar bears his name in stains
Writing words cliché
How to retain his own name
He holds his pen up high, destined to fly
Trying to resight what was lost in flight
Shattered dreams scream the uncertainty
As light gleams from a glass mask
Past doomed my soul calloused
Gone in whole
But with heart more
He sought swords
To protect what is known as a life orb
And no it won't be destroyed
But yet even as time chimes
The torch falls given no light
This will not be the last line he write
But if is then sickness took his.
