Kabir (1440 - 1518 / Pratapgar, Uttar Pradesh, India)

Brilliant writer i enjoy reading all the spiritual poems

he was a philosophical and spiritual writer.....he is the idol of many hindus and I adore him as a writer!

bra is not in any way to be associated with urdu script, for sure close to hindi, of course in the la guage of kabir one will find urdu, arabic, persian and may be else words according to the person who wrote his messages that came to us today which one are true kabir saying that has been the work of scholars to decide after long years of work in this field

Does anyone know whether the Braj dialect (which he spoke) was closer to Hindi or Urdu script when his poems were first written down (by someone other than he as I understand he did not write and all his poem were in the oral tradition) ?
