Gibran has always been a favourite of youth. His books, both verse and prose has that effect on aspiring young men and women who dream of lasting even the mountains. The revolutionary and apparently universal appeal of his 'humane' approach mesmerizes the readers. We find million of people throughout globe adoring their college / university notebooks with quotations from Gibran and later using them in their debates and discussions. They usually point towards a basic problem which Mr. Gibran defines in shortest possible form and its solution is presented in utmost clarity, particularly for the young, expressionable minds. This craft is in a way unique to Gibran writings. Some of his books are read as classics even. |
