Guilt

Guilt shows in your eyes
as they skim the room,
pick me up briefly
then dropp me again
as though I wasn't there.
Squash those feelings that bubble up
whenever you see me.
You're married
and I shouldn't inhabit your heart.
But I do -
for guilt shows in your eyes
