House Of Peace

The house of peace beaten by time
A place of comfort marked by a chime
From a bubbling brook not far does lie
In the unknown woods that refuse to die
Near to mind, far from heart
Saved for when the darkness does start
To close in, moving quickly,
Leaving me wishing I could flee.
If you knew of it, you surely would see
Why it is so dear to me.
