WHERE ARE WE GOING
By Kate Moore21-MAY-2018

Are you prepared, now hear me out,
...

2.

What is Reiki, I hear you ask
I'll try to answer, so your doubts will pass
How can it heal, from where does it start
First, it must come from within your heart
...

High up in the forrest, hidden by leaves of green,
All day long, sound asleep, Koalas can be seen.
Mothers carry babies, clinging to their backs,
Green gum leaves, are their favourite food,
...

While gazing thru the window, very late one night,
I saw them in formation, in their path of flight.
I guess I thought 'impossible', at least at what I saw,
Golden flying saucers, not two, but three or four.
...

I had a problem the other day,
To be assertive, was not my way.
So off to tech, myself I took,
To solve this problem, from a book.
...

One night I had a vision, I know not - from where he came,
He came to spend some time with me, he didn't say his name.
I knew not of his coming, tho he made his presence felt,
His timing was perfection, while in my house he dwelt.
...

Did I hear a royal fanfare? ? ? Did you hear a drum? ? ?
No you silly bugger.....it's just my noisy bum!
In days gone by, it was discreet, to drop one on the side,
Silent, but deadly, an art.....to be applied.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL DAY
byKATE MOORE30-SEP-2015
For a new mother just home from hospital
...

Around the table, we were seated, within the bar when we last met,
Old friends, and some new were greeted, clutching poems, not shared yet.
What a treat of sheer delight, of poems read throughout the night,
Some were long and some were short, a few were humorous of a sort.
...

The most common creepy crawlies
That are found in every home
Are tiny harmless ants of black
That tramp around alone
...

Silver bells and tinsel are the order of the day
Toys and cakes and puddings, will soon be on their way
Hopeful little faces, with wishes yet ulntold
Department stores, overflowing, with goodies to be sold
...

Who's that whimpering, in the dark?
Come, I'll hold you, near my heart.
My heart beats, for only you,
To feed you is, the next I'll do.
...

When I go to the dentist,
I say this little prayer.
God let him be gentle,
Whenever I go there.
...

Mirror, mirror in my hand.....show me who I really am,
Let my story now be told, when I was young, when I grow old.
Dust the glitter from my face, let the Goddess take her place,
Step outside....from within.....let shyness fall, to begin
...

Alone I came, together we shared,
A space for each problem, to listen with care.
The aim of our Group, from that, I can hold,
Goes against all instructions, as a child I was told.
...

I spied a carrot, on a plate,
In meditation, bout his fate.
Will I be diced, and dropped in stew,
Casserole, or cheese fondue?
...

Years ago my friend and I, planned to take a trip,
Claire is a cruise-a-holic, so we had to choose a ship.
Filled with anticipation, requesting this special time,
We phoned our travel agent, who suggested 'try Capricorn Line'
...

Try and find a quiet place, is what the teacher said,
To sit, and think, and meditate, and loosen up your head.
Let your thoughts run wild and free, or conjure up a storm,
Let life's glow, take over you, as daybreak does the dawn.
...

It's sad to see an old girl cry, can you believe, thats true,
One day, when this happened, my thoughts turned to you.
Whilst out for my morning walk, without a friend in sight,
I was thinking of your dilemma, and wished you could see the light.
...

Mr Hoard, and Mrs Save, met not long ago,
Yet recently did they realise, that they had a common foe.
Neither had been to battle, neither had been to war,
Yet each alone, agreed that, they shared a lot in store.

Where Are We Going

WHERE ARE WE GOING
By Kate Moore21-MAY-2018

Are you prepared, now hear me out,
What is this filmall about? .
Some may say good, and some may saybad.
Some will be happy, and some may be sad.

This here,is a movie as you're well aware,
It's all about death, of which we will share.
This is to put you in the mood,
So that to the screen, your eyes will be glued.

If we were given a choice, as to when we go,
Would it be fast, or would it be slow?
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
Watch out my friends, deaths' a must!
We all are precious, but do take care,
As the grim reaper will find us, just anywhere..
You can't hide, as he will seek,
He'll knock you off your bloody feet.

He may come fast, and he may come slow,
Yet in the end, he's the boss, of the show.
Our remains, remain, that's for sure,
But where does the soul go, for evermore.
We often gaze there, myself and all,
The wonder of our universe, to be enthralled.

Or maybe there's somewhere, down below,
Where we're led to believe, it doesn't snow.
Yet the ancients say, there's a crossing to make,
Anubis will steer you across the lake!

Some will run, some will flee,
Not knowing where,they're ENDwill be.
Especially the one, we hate the most,
Is the fatal disease, that becomes our host.

Accident, or mis-adventure, is such a waste,
Yet for some they choose, suicide,in a quiet place.
And then, for many, there's sadly WAR,
Our brave hero's...... forever more.

Filled with horror, filled with sin,
Soon the movie will begin.
Maybe violence, or maybe grief,
Just sit back, relax, in your seat.
